Bromptons – Perhaps the most useful and superbly designed thing I own…and has already paid for itself in saved tube fares.

Trangias do not do what they’re meant to do. Unless they were designed to burn stuff or not cook it, be really dangerous and waste fuel.

And my Endura bibs were sized really weirdly and wore out at the crotch quite early on.

my girlfriend does exactly what she’s meant to do without any fuss, my wife, however always used to make a fuss, and very rarely did it.

Lots of tools in the workshop fall into this category – the hammer I use most is a roofer’s hammer I found in the road about 20 year ago! Park allen keys, Rohloff chain tool, Kestrel stands, and my Midget oxy torch (the bottom one in this pic):

Sony CD player – well, most Sony stuff really, TV and camera quite elderly but still work perfectly.

    Rohloff chain tool

Not keen on mine. Shows either “chain OK” or “chain gubbed” by which time it’s too late. Going to buy the Park one.
