Any ideas of where to buy? – can’t seem to find anything that takes more than a 60w or equivalent bulb.

    For the OH’s studio.

Use a Halogen or LED lamp with the equivalent output but rated at less than 60w?

For a desk lamp these days it’s got to be LED all the way, much more compact, bright, clean light, and almost no heat from the lamp, unless the lamp is part of the rooms heating system… 😉
Not the cheapest, perhaps, but a classic design, brought up to date with LED lighting:

Loads here, and not too pricey:

Bear in mind a lamp rated for 60w is so rated because it can only take the heat of a 60w filament bulb. So if you find a modern bulb that is, say, 100w equivalent light output but only actually uses, say, 10w of electricity, then it’s well within the spec of the lamp, because it will produce much less than 10w of heat.
