I have a Maxle Lite stuck in my Revs. The thread is OK as it undoes OK, but it pushes the fork legs apart rather than retreating into the hub (Hope Pro II), so guess it's sticking in the hub. Obviously I stopped unwinding the Maxle at this point! I can only assume that some of the filth I've ridden through has found it's way in to cause this

Anyway, anybody else had this and how did you get it out. Something to use as a drift and my trusty rubber mallet?

…and yes, I will be putting more grease on the Maxle once it's out.

Roofrack strap the legs together and wind the axle out.Failing that ****t it with an 'ommer (they dent surprisingly easily tho!!).

I've seen this happen, if you don't keep it greased. Firstly, apply GT85 or similar to unthreaded side. Unthread it a little, and then push the legs together by hand. It should release the non-threaded side, which is what is stuck.
