Obviously my superior cycling thighs have worn through another pair of jeans. Ordinarily, I’d pop down to Next to pick up another pair of “slim fit” with a massive waist.
Wife was ordering some stuff online for the lad and said she’d order me some jeans too.
Anyway, they’ve arrived and she’s ordered me “Stretch slim fit”.
Oh my god, they’re comfortable! I’m concerned that I’ve opted for comfort over morals and have inadvertently bought jeggings.
I’m torn between sending them back and falling into the comfort trap.
Before I know it, I’ll be heading to the pub in a tracksuit….

Shorts. All year. Who gives a **** really. Once you get used to that level of comfort, as the larger thigh’ed gentleman it’s almost impossible to go back to jeans.

As long as your not on the elasticated waste or “slacks zone” you’re good for a bit

Why would you buy slim fit with a big waist if your thighs are bigger than the norm?

Wouldn’t loose/relaxed fit in your usual waist be better?

Get out. We’ll have none of that sensible common sense in here.

Bought some Levi’s 504s, straight leg, not skinny. They are surprisingly stretchy and bloody comfy. Must have plenty of that elastane stuff in them.

My last couple of pairs have had a bit of stretch in them. More comfortable, and seem to last a lot longer.

I don’t know what they are but I think that I want them.
Are they the climbing equivalent of “builder’s arse cleavage” jeans.

My “go to” jeans now are Hollisters so-called epic flex. I’ve used them for climbing and riding (short distances) but they look like any other. About £40 when they have a sale on.

I won’t wear anything else now. It can be tricky to get jeans with a decent amount of stretch that aren’t horrible fashion victim style, but get a nice plain pair and you’ll never go back.

    Workwear is where it’s at.

Wrangler Texas Stretch, look like jeans only comfortable without being Farmers baggies.
