  • Strava, iPhone, Polar H7 HRM – lost connection, can't regain – anyone else

Set out for a spin last week – when I looked at the start of the ride, no HR was showing up on the Strava app display. Tried to resolve this on return (it had registered a signal at very start then lost all readings).

No joy (I may have actioned the delete icon to remove the HRM).

However, the HRM is readable still by Endomondo and another HR app, and is showing in Bluetooth devices – so it’s not ‘lost’, just that Strava has lost it.

It doesn’t even say – “Searching for devices” any more, just sits there.

Logged a support ticket but I’m not Premium so I suspect that will not be responded to.
Anyone else had a problem with Strava losing a device and how did they get it back?

Haven’t got your combination but SOP for me when a Bluetooth device goes AWOL is to remove it from all apps and from Bluetooth in Settings and then add back in.

OK – I’ll try that, would be handy to get it connected again.

If you remove from Bluetooth devices (Is it “Forget Device”) – can it be easily added back in again? Wary that it will just disappear never to be seen again!
