We had a containerised substation broken into for its copper but they also took the time to carefully unscrew and remove the fluorescent lights.

Another one….a few of us at work used to swim at lunchtime at the local pool. Used to lock stuff in locker, swim, shower then walk back to work.

So 1 day 2 of us went, i finished early so went back. 10 mins later work colleague walks in with just a coat on, nothing underneath, coat was not his. Turns out someone nicked all his kit from his locker and staff had lent him a coat.

Thieving scrotes also spent loads on his stolen credit card, this was refunded though.

I just returned to my van- parked on a public road at home- to find a wing mirror glass has been carefully removed and stolen! 👿

My car was broken into but only the knob off the gearstick was pinched.

My mum and dad had a camel stool stolen from outside their front door.
Really useful as Surrey is chocked full of camels

A 40 cubic yard skip. Police asked how did I think it was taken, did they need specialist kit. 🙄

A bag of tripe, stolen from my motorbike pannier.
Presumably they hoped it might be lamb chops, or best steak.

I had the local metal collecting scumbags try to make off with a set of filing cabinets from the yard at work, I caught them and went so bat-shit mental they carried them back inside for me.

The we decided that we didn’t need them after all. Left them outside the gate and they stayed there for 3 weeks til we got a letter from the council.

A pair of ball finials from our victorian garden gateposts. We still haven’t been able to find suitable replacements, 13 years later

Yeah, it was the exhaust I had taken.

Mentioning the Vivaro in the thread has reminded me of when someone took the front indicator out of my works 53 plate vivaro over a bank holiday weekend.

They were only £12 brand new from Vauxhall

    The stairs in my house.

I’ve been stuck upstairs for 27 years now.

Years ago rode back from a Yamaha track day at Donington to Cardiff in apocalyptic rain. No waterproofs and only a pair of Catapiller boots on my feet. I was so wet when I eventually made it home that the Mrs made me undress on the driveway. I left the boots out there. Were years old, stunk and I figured they’d NEVER dry. Got up for work the next morning and some mentallist had nicked them. More astonishing was that I’d left them next to my bike. Which I’d left the keys in………

My boxers, socks and a t-shirt from the drier in the summerhouse. They left the Trek Session. Sick bastards.

When I was at school my pencil case went missing

I didn’t think anything of it until it mysteriously turned up 3 years later at the reception of a local swimming pool where I trained 3 nights a week

I learned 10 years later that a girl had a crush and used to sleep with it under her pillow

    Weird
