Price aside is there any difference between a hundred quid one

    Less cheap

    and a cheaper one

    Cheap

according to caframo chappie who came on the forum once, the cheaper one will chop your fingers off because it doesnt have CE approvals….

I have one. And am touch typing this with all 9 fingers and thumbs.
    It works fine.

I was reading that thread only last night while ooh-ing and aah-ing over what to spend an Amazon voucher on. Chose the more expensive one, only because it was “free”….

It should be with me tomorrow. Will report back when the stove is next fired (temperature starting to drop and the women of the house will soon want some heating on…).

first one moves more air by the prop design.

bottom one is a carbon copy of the old calframo design that i have – it works.

im sure there are even cheaper copies about 29.99 are their not ?

either are better than heating just your celing :d

My google fu is not so good!

I cannot find the £30 ones, only £45?

Anyone link to a £30 one from somewhere they recommend / have had experience with?

I had a look at that old thread and I think I could probably make my own, anyone done it?

Yes, I made one out of a model aeroplane propeller, motor, two cpu heatsinks and a peltier device off ebay. It worked, but the prop blade wasn’t anything like the size or pitch needed to move as much air as the bought ones.

There’s some really cool looking heatsinks on eBay they really are works of art, off shopping I go
