Forgive me for asking a total ludite question 🙂

At the moment with a laptop I just have an external harddrive to keep/backup all my photos and music etc to. My laptop is getting a bit flakey, so considering getting a Samsung Tablet,

How would I go about storing say 300G of piccies etc, I know they have sd card slots, but I dont want to rely on a library of SD cards.

    Cheers

Does the tablet have a USB or USB mini port?

Nope, just a microSD card slot.

Connect a drive to your network.

NAS – network attached storage. Then you can also access the stuff when away from home across the internet.

Look for threads on here about NAS units ( and the answer is Synology or QNAP )

Or the Western Digital MyBook, from the same review.
