Was meant to be told wtf is going on with redundancies / paycuts at 12pm today.

Got everyone together, said “Right everyone seems to think reduced working week is the best idea, and comments? No, well we’ll see if its viable and tell you tomorrow / soon”

They proposed the idea on monday, said we’ll reconvine on weds to tell you whats going on. You would have thought they would have done the bloody sums in the mean time.

I’ve had a stress related headache for three days now and im boarderline suicidal.

Not funny anymore.

Same when I was made redundant, it dragged on and on then when it finally happened I was given less than 24hrs notice between the meeting and the being-escorted-off-site…

And guess what’s happened now? They phoned up the other day: work is flooding in, really busy, please could I start work with them again?!
So I was re-employed on Monday albeit at a lower wage than I was on. It’s typical piss-poor management and the ones at the coal face are always the ones to suffer.

I on the other hand went into work as normal last wednesday to be handed a cardboard box and was told I had 15 minutesto pack up my crap and F-off.

Dont know when I will get the 90 days notice the 25 days holiday and last months wages that I am owed.

I did manage to swipe a nearly new Toshiba laptop off my desk without any one noticing and the office petty cash box went into my collegues huge handbag which helped start the piss up at the pub round the corner.
