So many threads about bad service, I just wanted to highlight some good service I’d had recently.
Found I had a bit of a wobble in the back end of my 9 month old Santa Cruz Nickel after riding the weekend before last. I traced it to main pivot; a quick strip down showed the as axle had a bit of wear on it, so sent Stif (who sold me the frame) an email and a picture on Wednesday last week to see what they could do about it.
They passed that onto Jungle who called me back first thing Thursday; spoke to (I think Jonty) and it was no problem to get a new axle out to me. Arrived on Friday morning so bike was fully functioning this weekend. Normally they ask for old parts back first but were happy to send the bolt out if I returned the old one in due course – it will go back to them tomorrow (promise!)
As it happened, ended up riding something else (which is another story entirely) at the weekend, but just wanted to say thanks to Stif and Jungle for going an extra mile to keep me rolling. Cheers guys!
