Stanton sherpa frame seem to have a relatively low stack height (591 mm). If you have one, how long is your fork steerer tube and what amount of spacers are you using under (or above) your stem to get it comfortable? I’m thinking 170mm steerer tube would give me about 10mm of space to play with, but I wonder whether this will be enough given the relatively low stack height of the frame. What do you think?

What size of frame? I ran 170mm steerer forks on a large Sherpa until I could afford new ones. It went, just, due to lowest stack headset and stem I could find and no spacers. Shifters hit the top tube though so I’ve left my new forks at 190mm which resolves the issue. Still messing about with a couple of spacers.

It’s a 17″ sherpa, which has a 100mm head tube. I reckon you’ve confirmed my thinking for me
