I really enjoy riding my all carbon Scott Scale RC and fancy another hardtail, but metal this time.

What would be the differences/advantages/disadvantages of Ti versus Steel and how would they ride differently from my carbon frame.

And lastly, which sliding dropout Ti or Steel frames would you recommend?

According to STW the Whyte 19 alloy and Ti versions ride the same I've got both (and one with carbon seat stays as well) and I can't disagree. I'd happily recommend them.

Van Nicholas, no sliding dropout but a SS/EBB version.

Although they will custom make a sliding dropout if you want ;0)

None of that Steel or Ti nonsense, you want Aluminum. It's the new black dontyaknow?

You are only allowed Ti if it's a mid-life crisis purchase 😉
