i alradey have an Alpine (15/21") but after todays blast on my old Sanderson i realised how much of a top bloody marvellous wunderschön fantastic little piece of kit it is.

i like the Alpine but find it too short in the top tube. i feel i have more control in technical sections with the Sanderson and i believe this is due to the longer top tube allowing me to move around more and find the balance point. it's also a lot easier to pedal up hill and on the flat, again due to the extra length.

the Sanderson has a top tube of 23", two inches longer than the Alpine.

what bike have similar properties to the Sanderson but with the ability to take longer forks and more abuse?

anyone have one of those ragley blue pigs?

the bumpf on the website says long top tube, slack head angle (1deg slacker than the Alpine)

BUMP… any info on blue pig? shit name but looks good on paper.

alternatively, what is happening with the new Alpines? longer TT?

    price might be prohibitive, mind.

Mike, any ideas on prices? just feel the 15/21 is a bit too short for me.

thanks Ed-O, but i've looked at the bumpf on the web. wondered if there were any first hand experiences to be heard.

£330 preorder or £360 when they hit these shores I believe
