    The Flying Scotsman was just pulling out of Keighley when I went past yesterday AM. I remember seeing it flying (sic) up the west coast mainline in the 1970s after its first renovation.

    I was able to see Tornado being built in its shed at Darlington. amazing piece of kit.

    Steam engines always make me think of my dad, who was a huge trainspotter railway enthusiast. Thanks for the memories posting this has triggered.
