Considering some Stan's Arch rims.Have a selection of tyres to use some tubeless some with tubes.Might use a bit of both.Is it possible to run the Stan's tape with tyre and tube or do i need to remove it? Silly question, but just wondered? What do these rims run like with tyre and tube? Finally have always had a love/hate affair with DIY tubeless and prefer UST.Whats the situation with inflation.Track pump or compressor?

Depends on the tyre. Been using Arches for about 3 years now & some tyres go straight up with a track pump & some need co2. Really nice rims though – nice & light with a wide profile.

I've got a front wheel for sale if you're interested.

managed to inflate most tyres (tried a few, maybe 10 all normal i.e. not tubeless) with a track pump. easier than mavic ust (had some 819's) to seat beads and secure, no air burps. i use yellow tape only and have used tubes too, without difficulty.
