    Is it actually important? I barely have any, and its never given me a problem. How much have you got?

    Got one bike with none and another with a couple of inches. Never caused me any trouble. The stem, on the other hand….

    About an inch,never caused me any problems….Think it’s more for young childrens bike set-up, like being able to touch the floor flat footed when you’re sat on the saddle…..
