Reynolds 953 – Does anyone know if these are available anywhere?
Can’t seem to find any, would I need to go down the custom frame route?

I’m not aware of any off the shelf SS disc road specific frames ,Genesis are probably the closet match but they only do at the moment either a Stainless frame with caliper brakes or Disc frames in either Titanium or Reynolds 725.

They do however have the Croix de Fer in stainless with discs which may suit.

Go custom and you can obviously have whatever you want at a price.

    Ritte Snob?

There must be a few others by now given the age of this tread.

I wanted one of these but Rourke Cycles informed me that 953 tube profiles aren’t tough enough to take disc braking forces. So I got a 931 made instead!

Genesis have a 931 disc Equilibrium as part of their 2016 range.

Hmmm, yes, that should be much better value than mine!

What fork is that Gaidong? 1 1/8th straight steerer carbon disc forks seem to be quite rare not as part of a frameset.

I was looking for a while, but never found anything I was happy with on budget.
Ended up getting a hardtail and a fixie instead.
Might look again in a year or 2
