    Sram X1 BB30 axle length/BB30 in a BB86 frame?

I want to run this crank. But the bb30 version

    https://www.sram.com/sram/mountain/products/sram-x1-1400-hollow-forged-x-sync-crankset

My frame is a Giant XTC 29 with a BB86 Bottom bracket.

I am aware this cranks has a 30mm axle so I would be looking to use the ROTOR 4130 bottom brackets bearings (abliet with a shorter life span due to smaller bearings)

My question is what is the cranks axle length?

I know some bb30 cranks have a rather short axle (due to bb30 design)

I am also aware that there may be 2 BB30 spindle lengths long and short.

    Id like to know

    A. does the x1 crank have this option of short or long?
    B. Would some one be able to tell me the length of a xx1 x01 x1 bb30 crank

    Thanks in advanced

    Liam

the first issue is what bearings are you going to run to put a 30mm spindle in a 41mm shell?

    Keep up at the back:

I would be looking to use the ROTOR 4130 bottom brackets bearings (abliet with a shorter life span due to smaller bearings)

However, that’s designed for cranks with a longer 30mm diameter axle – Rotor 3D+, RF Next SL, Praxis etc etc.

I reckon you’ll be out of luck OP, but I’ve only got GXP cranks to measure.
