Do they generally have a light clutch?

Anyone managed to get them apart?

    yes too light imo
I managed to kept dropping the chain at bpw off the drop on vicious valley.
after 3 dry months the sram gx had almost seized
everyone says they cannot be taken apart as there is a pin going through them -this part is true-there is a pin.
well I unscrewed the back plate instead
    cleaned the rusty gunk out
    degreased
spun the coil round and refitted the back plate and its been spot on for last 6 months
do not attempt to take the cap off from the frt and remove the torque bolt
it ruins the clutch but taking the back plate off and doing it that way is a doddle
takes a couple of tries first time to get the correct tension but its easy .

Ok. So just before reading this post I opened up the plastic cap… Chevkef that the torquebolt was tight, and not knowing it could do damagd I winded the bolt out a few turns to se if that would make any difference at all. Which it did not..

Could anyone explain how this can damage the clutch? What needs to be done to make make it good again??
