Can you run a SRAM Cassette with Shimano chain, shifters and frnt/rear mechs?

    Thanks

    Yes you can.

    🙂

The only thing you can’t mix are shifters and rear mech – i.e. Shimano shifters only work with Shimano rear mechs, and SRAM shifters only work with SRAM rear mechs.

There are exceptions to this due to pull ratios, but to be safe keep to the above directive.

Yep, I only use Sram chains and use Shimano cassettes. Not for any reason really, I just do, and they work fine.

Also, what rickon said. Except those ‘Attack’ Sram shifters work with Shimano, never used them though.

Yeah as above – you are free to swap cassette, chain, cranks – most SRAM and Shimano Shifter/mech combos should stay as a pair 🙂
