    changing a 1×10 sram setup to 2×10, will a shimano 9spd front mech work ok with sram 9spd chainset and will both work with the existing 10spd sram chain.

    Front mech is fine the problem is the rear mech. Shimano shifters do not work with SRAM rear mechs.
