I’ve just realised that I’ve fitted a SRAM Power Lock 10spd link the wrong way round!

Should I be worried? Has anyone any experience of using one that has been fitted the wrong way round? If so, did it cause any problems?

I’m trying to work out if I should remove it and fit another the correct way round.

    thanks

I’ve never bothered to check they’re the right or wrong way round… Never had an issue. Didn’t even know till now and I’ve fitted and refitted loads.

Oh and they are reusable, don’t worry about SRAM’s one use only thing.

Just to further that – just dragged the FF29 in off the car and thought i’d check – yep mine’s backwards! It’s probably on about 250 miles so far and i’ve not died yet.

Thanks, I did wonder just how sensitive it could be to direction. I appreciate the advice.
