Hi looking for anyone with info.
Have an issue with the mech having play within the fixing bolt ?

Having come to change my chain cleaned up the mech and noticed it having play.

I’ve had this on very old worn mechs in the past but this is less than 6 months old.????

    Thinking it’s a warranty claim …

    Cheers any info appreciated.

I had this happen on my old SRAM x7 mech, had to have it replaced once after <6 months the replacement failed sooner, so much play in all the pivots was ghost shifting everywhere and it launched itself into my back wheel at the Mega. 👿

My new bike is coming with nx, I’d hoped they’d have got better.

Looks like I’ll be replacing with a Shimano one again!

Is it still the case that the floating top jockey is unique to Shimano by patent. So that Sram have to have a little play else where.

I think they are a bit hit and miss like this fresh from the factory some have lot’s of side to side slop and other don’t .I’ve sent new ones back in the past and exchanged for ones that are better.
