    Can I run a short cage Sram 10 sp mech on a 2×10 system? Having trouble sourcing a medium cage.

    as far as i know your cassette needs to be 28t and under for short cage 2×10

    The bike shop (who will remain nameless) had mistakenly fitted a short cage, type 2 SRAM mech to my new SB66. It kept snapping its chain.

    The SRAM website says that a medium cage is required for a 2 x 10.

    I had supply problems and eventually had a source a replacement myself from JE James.

    arrived in no time
