    the sound you never want to hear from a circlip you're fitting into your Hope rear hub 🙁

    Spoing: escaping from circlip pliers
    tink: hitting some unidentified object on the far side of the room…

    There is only one sure way of finding it buy a new circlip and literally seconds after you have fitted it the old one will appear

    Luckily I had a spare freehub rotor with its circlip still in place 🙂

    I think that's a hollower sound, and the 'tink' would be a 'thonk' as the tension is gone…
