Just replaced the rim tape on my stan’s 355 rims and noticed that a couple of the eyelets are cracked by maybe 3/4mm. Does anyone know if I’m liable to be a victim of a catastrophic failure, or experienced similar?

Just rebuilt one for a customer on Saturday, 2 spoke nipples pulled right through the rim, still rideable in a “get you home” manner, but not ideal if you’re miles from nowhere. I’d get it replaced before it fails.
