So just get a call from someone I know at the local council.
“We’ve had a complaint about your foreign vehicle being illegally parked and preventing them getting their car and caravan on the drive…,,”
Really? Says I.
“Afraid so, is it where it usually is?”
Yep, says I.
“Well then don’t worry about it as it’s not and there’s no issue but if it’s convenient would you mind perhaps moving it oh … say 10ft….? Just so we aren’t having to waste time on the computer, etc wasting time.”
Of course says I – but it’ll be Saturday when I’m back.
“That’s fine,we just have far more pressing things to deal with than someone who has now called four times this morning, thanks”
Now considering there is a blanket ban on caravans, motor homes and commercial vehicles on the deeds – said complainer needs to be careful as mentioned by the caller.
The fact there is only one house that brings their caravan into the close, taking up three spaces and increasing the already awkward access, also means I know which door to knock tomorrow when I’m back considering they don’t have the balls to actually knock mine instead of causing unnecessary grief.
