    Fred’s typing gave me LOLs – he is bright and creative enough to do it and make it funny and original without being obvious, and it wound plenty up.

    I think with the internet etc we see the written word of ordinary folk, so it appears that standards are slipping, while they may not actually be.

    It can smack of laziness which is why it winds folk up I guess.
