The oil paintings are probably most impressive to watch but the biro ones are amazing in the flesh – how he gets that level of shading and detail from a biro I’ll never know!

How long would a pencil drawing take him?

wow! I am very impressed. Biro is a very understated medium IMO. The quality of biro work I see on deviantart is astounding.

King-ocelot – no idea to be honest. He did a pencil sketch of my 3 kids for father’s day and I think it took him an evening.
