    Hi

    Looking at some panniers to mount on a Specialized Pizza Rack and the Ortlieb Back Roller Classics look ideal.

    I’ll be mounting them on a Spesh AWOL and a few websites I’ve looked at suggest only loading the front with panniers rather than the back. I’m away for 5 days so looking to get the rear Ortliebs for their capacity over the dedicated front ones. Apparently the City Rollers are adaptable as they fold down smaller (happy to get these as an alternative).

    Just wondering if anyone else is using this combo? Does it run too low to the ground?

    i am away to france in a week for a longish tour.
    going to run my panniers on the front this time, on a tubus front rack.
    a friend told me the bike handles nice and stable loaded on the front.
    we will see.
