Been offered a 2008 Spesh Allez Elite by a colleague for £350, good condition, serviced 50 miles ago, forks changed to Kinesis Race Light 7075 alloy rather than stock Spesh carbon.

Is it worth £350…. Can’t find any the same anywhere!

New to the road market, the hybrid has to go for this step up!

£350 seems very steep…. I’d be offering around £200

For comparison, I was about to sell my 58 cm 2013 trek 1.5 (similar spec) with a spare set of rrp £200 wheels for £375….

Seems hugely overpriced. I’ve got a 2009 one (and I think it’s horrible actually – but I’ve only had expensive roadbikes otherwise, so probably doing it a disservice!), but I’d be looking more like half that!

I had a 2009 allez and i liked it, but 350 quid for a 6 year old tiagra equipped bike is criminal, that’s double what it’s worth.

Not sure he’d drop that much so back to hunting…. Tomhoward, your trek still for sale 😉 ?

Yep, very overpriced. I got a 2011 model earlier this year for less than that with a few extras. Nice enough bike though
