Hi all I have a speacialized front 15mm wheel and I think the bearings are shot as they are really nosiy and the wheel has a bit of play in it when clamped into forks.

Has anyone changed a set of these before and if so can you give me some tips please!!!

    cheers

Will depend on the hub type, but most are just a case of pulling out the adapters then drifting the bearings out of the hub shell. Things you may have problems with include stuck adapters, brake disc overhanging the adapter without you noticing, internal bearing spacer sleeve stopping you getting a drift behind the bearing, and worn out bearings collapsing and leaving the outer race stuck.

got the end caps off and the bearings are 6804-2rs.

any recommendations on where to purchase?

If you want stainless, any Hope dealer should carry them for Pro2 hubs, otherwise Simplybearings if you want to buy online/cheaply, or BSL Brammer if you want to go local and pay through the nose.
