Ive been riding flats alot recently and noticed that I naturally ride with my feel much further forward that I can with SPDs. The ball of my foot in on the front edge of the pedal. This got me thinking. Which SPD shoes allow you to get the cleat the furthest back on the sole of the shoe.

Get any shoes, then take a drill and make some new holes.

I haven’t tried or had a shoe yet that lets me put the cleat as far back as I like.

Five ten impact vxi. The cleat position can be set back than any other shoe apparently. I’ve got these and all the way back with the cleat is way too far for me.

New Shimano’s as well- AM9 or ME7 – both have extra long cleat slot holes now.
