Is anyone else doing this / done it. Is it like the HONC in terms of terrain and is it fine to do on a CX bike.

I’ve done it on a cross bike before, and usually see a good few others.

Its a few years since I last rode but as I understand it the recent versions of the route have had more tarmac/hard sections than in the past, so I would imagine it will be just fine

Rode it a few years back on singlespeed mtb and the year after on the cx bike. Entered and riding again this year on the cx bike. It’s just a bit of fun. Was well signed and started from Erlestoke
