both the shops at the moment are freezing,one has storage heaters and theyre pretty woeful the other one has central heating but its goosed..

any good recommendations for short term heating ideas? these hot air blowers any good?

Fantasic, soon heat up your shop but I doubt there very cost effective.
Old factory had one for their main office (open plan, 60’s factory) when the cold weather really hit.

i have had one of these for a couple of years and use it for heating up the garage.It is hot in minutes and doesn`t really use a lot of propane.I could give you a try if you want to test it out.The only down side in front of it is **** hot if you have any customers browsing around.

You’ll need to run it by your insurance provider as many exclude the use of portable gas space heaters due to fire risk.

just throw a sign up in the window saying “wear a coat, we’ve turned the heating off so we could pass on the savings to you the customer”

we’ve got one of these in our small and drafty factoy unit …. runs on paraffin or fuel oil
