    Hi everyone,

We're going to South Spain for a week, but without bikes!

Where is good for walking/nice to visit? We'll be in Andalucia and in the Las Alpujarras area.

    Cheers!

You haven´t said what time of year. July/August stay away from Seville & Cordoba (40+ degrees), Granada is a must and the Winter ski area above Granada great for biking, walking, tennis etc.
Any other months the classic 3 towns of Seville, Cordoba and Granada well worth visiting.
In las Alpujarras each of the dozens of villages linked by quiet mountain roads excellent in their own way.
    Car rental advised.

Tarifa is one of my favourite places on the planet. And you can pop over to Tanger on the ferry.

All the villages are pretty nice but Pitres seemed the least touristy with a nice square. Great walking (or riding) in the Poqueira Gorge near Mecina Fondales. Good walks above Trevelez up high into the big mountains.
