    In thurs rush hour – what’s the best route? Motorway or cross country. Got to be there for 9.30

    I personally would use the motorway and allow 3 hours journey time. Roadworks on M25 with ave speed cameras and traffic at various points such as M3 jct 4-3/2

    Hmm was thinking about a 6.30 start was thinking it would be quicker to head across the downs at that time…

    M3, M25, M23. No way.

    Along coast to A29, up to Horsham and then over to Gatwick. Quite a good drive at that time of the morning.
