My rear light seems to eat through these at a fair old rate.

Anyone get a source for buying in bulk at a reasonable price?

I’ve had some experiences of buying fake batteries in the past, so a reliable source appreciated

    Thanks

Ever thought about a usb rechargeable light? Probably cheaper in the long run.

    Amazon/eBay.

Just get a decent brand like Panasonic/Sony etc.

Poundland here, not noticed much difference to branded batteries.

These were recommended last time I asked this, they seem to last well.

How on earth do you spot a fake battery? Just got some from eBay for the dogs collar. Assumed the collar was knackered.

I should caveat my post with always buy direct from Amazon if using Amazon. Resellers for batteries is a bit of a lottery.

TBH I’ve tended to consider CR2032 powered rear lights “disposable” not very environmentally responsible I know but they’re seldom long lasting IME…

I get packs off 20 from DX for a few pounds, but you’ll need a multi-meter to check them because sometimes you can get a few dead ones.
What I didn’t know though, was that you can get rechargeable 2032 battery’s, and I’ll will be getting some of those when I get through all the battery’s I have left.

You can’t, which is the problem.

I got a box of duracells from ebay and they were fine, but it’s probably pot luck. I think they had 2 years left on the use by date, rather than the 10 years they start with so was more likley someones old stock than newly made fakes.
