Open to feedback from the STW world.

Picked up today after a few months of testing other rides, it came down to the Santa Cruz LTC. To note, tested Orange 5, Trek Remedy, Yeti ASR.

Anyway, the build is:
Fox 32 RLC 140 - down to 130mm
SRAM XO drivetrain (DH chainset)
Hope Tech Evo X2
Easton Haven wheelset
Haven stem n bar combo
Reverb
Bronson 2.3 F 2.1 R tubeless

First ride on Wednesday - cannot wait!

P.S. Sorry about any Grammer or Spelling mistakes, logos not lined up and anything else your eagle eyes pick up!

You chose the location well for the photos, skirting board fine, floor fine, wall fine, but... But you really do need a bounce flash.

As my dream bike is an LTc with a few subtle blingy bits (I currently have an LT2 with subtle blingy bits) I could not be more jealous. Absolutely stonking.

Only comments are that I would not have reduced the fork to 130 when the head angle is pretty steep already compared to recent trends, and I would have gone for M4 not X2.

Darren H - did eye up the green grips but they looked 'wrong' IMO!

Agreed but ODI do coloured lock rings which are just right

CM - the forks came from Moo with 130 mm in there but LBS will set up back to 140 mm if required...so will wait and see how it goes!

Did have M4's on my Nomad but have X2's on my XTC and love them (personal opinion I know)!

Cannot wait till Wednesday afternoon now!

SH1T - I am a muppet - it is a TRc not an LTC as mentioned above - apologies but my excitement lead to a crucial spec listing failure! Sorry chaps!

Couldn't ride anything with green on it myself, too superstitious.

Those tyres have you used them before? They OK?

Derekrides - had them on the TRc test bike I rode and a mates Orange 5 and thought they were brilliant so fitted them as a result - hoping they will survive in the winter gloop....time will tell!

Davidtaylforth - The Nomad was a great bike but I just wasn't getting on with it - it was an AM bike and I really couldn't justify having that frame for the riding I do - rode some shorter travel bikes and enjoyed the responsiveness of them - so spent a few months testing the 120mm frames and the TRc won.

Certainly a TRc, I have one the same. I run mine with a 140 fork and a shorter Stem (50mm)... lots of fun.

Simonm -how do you find it with the 140 my test ride was set up 130 so stuck with this and will go to 140 if I fancy it!
How long have you had it?

had it since August. I think at 130 it will climb a little better, not that it isnt good at 140. I run Revs lowered from 150 to 140, ride mostly around the Peak.. so 140 makes sense on some of the rockier bits.

Where do you ride ?

only other point I can think of, There is no down tube protector like on the Nomad C.. So worth getting either Helitape or simular protection on it.. if you ride rockier places.

Im hoping these french guys do one soon,

I put this on mine from Lizard Skins.
