2 lorries at traffic lights have this going off.
It’s a bloody racket.
What happens if they turn left at 2 am, do they wake everyone up within 1/4 of a mile?

Just gives SMIDSY drivers more opportunity to blame the victim?

Maybe it’s a system the driver can control, or on a timer, so they only use it during reasonable hours/built up areas.

They still have to remember to indicate, or does the system read minds too?
Or does it only operate when the vehicle is actually turning rather than in advance?

Annoying but I wonder how many cyclists this might save though?
