    It’s utterly mad.

But believable, and in the UK’s sole remaining independent broadsheet with a history of good, investigative journalism.

Until you read some of the investigative journalism on a subject with which you have intimate knowledge of and realise they lie and print fiction just like every other paper. Classic case of going into investigate something with their mind already made up of how they want to portray the end conclusions and cherry pick the facts and figures that fit their case, ignore the rest and thow in some BS while there in there.

    To:dr paragraph:

A web of rich and connected people who want a different political result to you are using big data to make you change your own mind and agree with them. It’s working.

    For tl:dr

Bad People With Big Money are using data and social networking to influence elections. There’s no explanation of how that works. The evidence is that people with money are friends with other people with money
The market for tinfoil hats is expanding exponentially and a wise place to invest. However, the bottom will fall out of this market as soon as the potential purchasers of tinfoil hats realise that whenever one is bought THEY will know who by and where the buyer lives.

We’re (the little people – not literally little like the fella who does the Ewoks and Willow and that, but the figurative ones on PAYE) are **** (not literally – possibly).

I haven’t read all of it. I read the title and 1st paragraph, so the above may not be correct, but this is STW.
