Been having some internet connection problems recently and the man from bt he say I have a network card problem/fault, apparently a known problem with whatever type it is and advises a repair. Fair enough.

    What does that entail?

Dell inspiron 6000 laptop 3/4 yrs old.

Worth fixing or buy cheapo for net use?

Sorry Mac users, can`t afford one of them.

    Cheers mrmichaelwright.

There is a slot with a blank peice of plastic on the right hand side of laptop that may be for such a thing. Notice they are out of stock so will have a search. Could be an easy solution.

Del. The problem keeps occuring, bt remotely reset everything, turn laptop off over night, unable to connect next time. Today absolutely nothing would allow me to connect, then for no reason up it pops?? Currently connected by cable. Wireless seems to have disappeared altogether.
    so something is wrong somewhere.
