I’ve been looking at these things for a while now, specifically for the charging of small electronic gizmos (GPS, iPod, camera, that sort of thing), but have never got round to buying one as the bulk of my trips have either been short enough that a single charge will last, or because power has been available.

I’m now gearing up for a trip that will be longer, and may also have less access to power, so I was wondering what recommendations people have for a hardwearing foldable/rollable, light panel that can charge things like an iPod and a Garmin. Waterproofness is not essential, but might be handy for the future.

    Anyone?

freeloader it is compact but not foldable-
You can get a foldable panel if required
