    As the title really.

I want to take some sections out of songs for a Christmas quiz, is there a simple programme to do it?

    Thanks

iTunes…? You can choose the start and end point of songs.

You can trim audio clips in some versions of Powerpoint, if you’ve got access to Office. Might be easier to run on the night this way.

On my phone I use Ringdroid to cut mp3s down to use for ringtones. Really easy to use, but perhaps a pc solution would be better if you need to do loads…

CDex – if you want to rip a section from a CD. I think it’ll do mp3->mp3 too, but I haven’t got it here to check.
Very simple, you just select the time of the section you want.
