Dant, that’s a quality picture.

Biggest issue found was than the slush and mud hit my bike a froze, it weighed a ton at the end. My rear rim was caked in frozen mud which added to the effort required.

Cheers nuke, just got my Flickr account today, obviously need some practice.

I didn’t encounter nasty puddles, but I did have to wee on my spds to defrost them.

but tomorrow im out on the bike but cant decide whether to take the cx bike with canti brakes which might as well not be there, tires should be ok though, or take the mtb with racing ralphs on! ill have disc brakes that will work though…

We had a great spin around the Punch Bowl in Surrey finishing off with mugs of coffee and bacon and egg buns at the cafe…a great morning out 😀

Went to shed, bike had puncture. Fixed puncture (are those rims glued on??!). Got cold fingers. Rode a mile, got another puncture. Walked home. Will try again today

Only got out for an hour locally but fantastic fun. Some trails were riding after than they’ve done for months despite a couple of inches of snow.

On Friday I asked if anyone wanted to join me on a Saturday Snowride – a surprising number did!

Nice pictures ask! It took me a while to recognise the route up and the wider picture of the old road in the middle. I might have a spin up there later if other jobs have been ticked off!!

18kms with the dog in 2″ of snow, 43kms inland in 4″ of perfect mostly virgin snow in the evening. Just magic!

An hour and a half through Buck Woods and up Baildon Moor, Bradford.

Absolutely knackering, but absolutely brilliant!

And my bike is clean! No mud!!

Ace morning – local trails, normally boggy, running quick and fast. Just don’t break on the ice!

3 hours up the Kilpatricks this morning. No snow lower down, but some up there.
No photos, it was too bloody cold to stop!

Just got back from 20 miles round tunnel hill.
I’m now officialy dead.

The Digswell Winter Squad went out, four stacks and……… then Bramfield
Trying to avoid a massive puddle I had crashed through I advised our eldest member, 54 to go round, what we thought was ground was a three foot drainage channel. Despite going in to waist height he held the bike up high and climbed out. So we called in at the nearest pub, bacon sandwiches and called International Rescue for him. The remaining two carried on.

I tried to have punt. Ice kept clogging up my spd’sthough.

13 glorious miles round Woburn.

Absolutely loved it today! Cracking ride!
