    Urgh…..other people.

Also, depiction of cycling with sunshine and dust appear 90% more fun than real world conditions.

    See?
    Even they call it touring.

    Gravel adventure bikepacking gnarpoon?

    It’s a tourer.

    Multifunctional non-competitive personal transportation device?

    No.
    It’s still a tourer.
    🙂

Anyone incapable of cleanly opening a ring-pull can and drinking the contents without covering themselves in sugary liquid is not someone I want to share a trail with.

I need to refresh my brain now. 1 min 17 secs:

Edit: Watching the vintage footage puts me in mind me of why I go cycle touring – to enjoy the feeling of cycling, self-sufficiency, nature etc. To enjoy seeing and discovering the landscape. I might be in my late forties but I felt the same way at 15yrs, 25 yrs, 35yrs. Those people in the OP video seem to be more interested in themselfies? I could be wrong…but are they seeing the coltsfoot, the birch, the buff butterfly?
