Sounds brilliant. That was a right sod, that one.

Anyone used it? Do you still have to wait at lights or what?

Never had a problem there myself, been using that junction for 30 years. Trafalgar Square would’ve been a better one to close.

No way! Bank is far worse than Trafalgar Square. I don’t go that way any more, tempted to go and have a look though.

Still open to busses though yes ? I suspect its going to be a traffic nightmare. Taxi’s can’t use it. My experience in Paris of closing roads has been far more jams and more pollution as a result.

    Same lights, still buses.

There’s a fair few other cars, vans, taxis still using it when they shouldn’t (probably habit or just blindly following their satnav) but there are police out educating them. 2 weeks grace before the fines kick in.

Walk past it every day. There were some hippy looking bike protesters making a noise there on Monday and some cars performing u-turns but yesterday and today looked pretty normal. Busses still goings though, will see if any other vehicles use it tomorrow.
