    Asking 250k, paid 242k in Bristol in April 2011

    march 2011 ,

    asking price 225 , paid 215

    sold ours 195 for a 200 asking price .

    Our house was on for 225K in Jan 2010, then went down to 215 in March 2010, we offered 180 and were turned down, then straight away it went down to 200, and we got it for 190K in the end.

    In Derbyshire (listed old house in a world heritage site / conservation area close to the middle of a nice town hence it was a bit expensive for round here.)

    lake districts great – I’d venture more into greenodd/lowick/ulverston direction though. Not a massive fan of kendals vibe.
