its belting down here in dunfermline too, has been since 7am when i got up.
think its meant to clear later, i can feel a snow ride coming on. . .

Airport shut, all LRT buses suspended, Forth Road Bridge closed

South Lanarkshire is shut down, and the I can’t get through to the wife by mobile phone. No traffic moving.

Might try a bike ride later, but I suspect I’ll need to walk wifey home from work first. The winter hillwalking kit is coming in useful. Maybe 15cm of snow in the last three hours on top of whatever is already lying.

And indeed there is chaos aplenty.

Fortunately sent most of the staff home as soon as the snow started to lie, so hope they’ve all made it ok.

I’m not liking my chances of getting home from Fife to Glasgow tonight.

I have my choice of shifts to do tonight – everywhere needs nurses. I shall be going to work tonight – on my bike.
