We are coming down from Scotland to Wales in September, question is can we push up the tourist path ( one following the railway line) and ride down the Rangers path? or is there a ban on all the paths?
if so recommend be a big day out in the hills

no ban on paths just the times you can ride them.

The voluntary ban covers all bridleways going to the summit of snowdon

It has been agreed that between the hours of 10.00 am and 5 pm from 1st May to 30th September cyclists should not cycle on the Snowdon bridleways shown on the map below.

It's a voluntary ban on all bridleways – 10.00 am and 5 pm from 1st May to 30th September

Start early – you can be up and down and in Pete's Eats for 10am

It's better after the (voluntary) ban, as all the walkers have left by then. I doubt if anyone would mind you pushing up before 5pm.

I'd go with go late rather than early especially if your planning on a razz down the Llanberis Path. If you go up early you'll be meeting all the people starting up as your coming down. This can be a busy time of the day. Coming down as the sun is setting can be absolutley stunning, awesome riding.

This is less important though on the Snowdon Ranger / Telegraph Bridleway route as its so much quieter
